Born Mario Dashawn Chelsea in Inglewood, California, Mario is the eldest of two boys. M-Hat's father was the Co-Founder of the well-known low riding car club, the Damu Riders. Know for his toughness and stints in jail, M- Hat found himself forced to move around a lot as a child due to his fathers lifestyle. When one of his many moves landed him in N. Hollywood, Mario quickly found his first outlet playing Pop Warner football in middle school. It was at this middle school that Mario, also known as "M-Hat", got his nickname from James, a childhood friend who later would become the manager of the rap group. It was around that time when he met Ian "Young Fligg", the second half of the duo.
Mario would eventually go on to play some Semi-Pro football, but retired his pads and helmet due to a gun shot injury in 2002. Shortly after his misfortune, Hat started working for Bryce Wilson as a caretaker of his music studios in Burbank, California. The studio not only became temporary housing he and Fligg, but was also a gateway into a whole new world. A world that was undiscovered until the night he and Fligg stepped into the recording booth. Slowly M-Hat's raw and untapped talent began to emerge through his lyrics. Over time Hat not only became a talented rapper, but a savvy businessman; starting a nightclub marketing and promotions company, as well as NoHo Kuts, a barbershop he started with his brother Kevin in 2005.
“God’z Gift is more than a duo it’s a lifestyle, it’s a support system. We can always depend on each other, what one does not have the other does and we will always have each other’s back regardless”, says M-Hat.
YOUNG FLIGG
Ian Richard Chidlaw AKA “Young Fligg“, was born at his parents home in Los Angeles, CA. Fligg spent most of his young life in LA, before moving to North Hollywood when he was 12 years old. Some say his nickname was derived from his haircut, which had a part in the middle, and fell on his head like a mushroom. His long time childhood friend James AKA “Black” says it somewhat resembled an igloo. Ask Mario AKA “M-Hat “, and he will say it resembled a “Fliggloo“, which later became his nickname “Fligg“. Nevertheless a childhood name has now turned into his alter rap ego.
Ever since he was a little kid, Fligg he had a way of affecting people with his spoken words, and has always felt his calling has been to speak to people. So it is no surprise that he feels that if music had fallen into his lap, he would be preaching or some sort of motivational speaker. In his younger years, like most people who come to Hollywood, Fligg dabbled in acting and landed a role in Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing”. But the celebration was short lived, and with his now pregnant sister Catalina moving home, Fligg was forced to give up his room and step out as a young on his own. Now temporarily homeless and with only a piece of an acting career, Fligg had no choice but to take up residence at a local recording studio with his new family, Hat and Black.
Fligg says, that the moment he stepped into the recording booth and discovered his rap talent everything made sense to him. He began writing rhymes, and ever since he has been chasing the perfect song; the type of song that you can dance to ten years from now, he says. Fligg has a metamorphic rap style, and feels that rapping is somewhat like being a novelist, but on a microphone.
God’z Gift is everything he stands for a lifestyle, and a belief system. Quote Fligg, and he says; “he is living his life to the best of his abilities, and seems to be getting the most back from it“. Our relationship, “It's a brotherhood that has ventured off into so many different things“, says Fligg. As an innovator in his craft, Young Fligg strives to become the best at what he does. “Hat, is competitive, but in a positive way, he’s always pushing me to step my game up”, says Fligg.

Jay Deuce was born Justin Campbell on January 10,1988 in a city called Petersburg, VA and was raised in Ettrick, VA where he was raised by his mother and grandparents. Growing up as an only child Jay Deuce was constantly looking for ways to keep himself busy. One of those ways was writing poetry and music lyrics. He wrote his very first song at the tender age of 7 years old. He continued to write songs throughout his youth. At the age of 17 he had an opportunity to record his first hit "Get My Shine On" featuring 45 aka Charles Ford from Buckwild Records while traveling in Korea. This song would become the first of many Jay Deuce hits such as "Get in ya zone" featuring a CBA production, "Aint Fuckin Wit Me" which features a Richard Bishop beat, "Shawty got", featuring a Neo beat, and "Say Yes" which features a Paul Cabbin beat from Stupid Beatz Production. "Say Yes" is Jay Deuce's newest single to date. "Say Yes" has had an overwhelming response online and on the radio because there was such a huge response Jay Deuce partnered up with T-Plezya on the remix which is currently creating an even bigger buzz.
Jay Deuce truly has a way with the ladies combining his sexual lyrics with his sulrty voice, but don't get it twisted with hits like "Ain't Fuckin Wit Me" and "Get In Ya Zone" there is definitely something for the fellas to vibe to as well. Since early 2009 Jay deuce has been heating up the mixtape scene being featured on the Urban Entertainment mixtape series "Keepin it Urban" Vols 2, 5 and 6. His songs "Say Yes" and the radio version of "Ain't Fuckin Wit Me" called "Ain't Got Nothin On Me" are currently in heavy rotation on the radio station called Unheard Radio with DJ Samore. Currently Jay Deuce is working on a few projects including his debut mixtape called "The Introduction" coming out in 2010 in which he intends on bridging the gap between hip hop and R&B, yes thats right yall...R&B.

Theo Wilson was born in St. Ann Jamaica. At the age of five, Theo began singing in groups around the island. However, at age twelve, Theo sung his first solo song during a church service, and from that day on, he knew he wanted to be a great asset in the music industry. Theo moved to the United States in 1998 and resided in the South Florida area. This is where he saw the opportunity of becoming a male solo artist. Even with his soulful voice, he enjoys singing different genres of music. His musical influences range from Boys II Men, Jagged Edge, and The Temptations to Usher, Mario, Justin Timberlake and many modern Pop/Rock singers and groups. His taste for music is very broad. Theo has entered and won many talent showcases and competitions such as the NAACP Act-So competition. He received special recognition after performing at the City of Deerfield Beach’s Beach Bash, where he received the opportunity to perform at the 5th Mango Festival as the opening act for Shirley Caesar and Ginuwine. He also was a winner at the New York Music Festival as a top R&B act. Upon entering college in fall of 2003 at Florida Atlantic University, Theo submitted a demo to the school’s record label-Hoot recordings. After performing at a showcase, he was offered a recording contract and was signed in December of 2004. Theo has since parted ways with Hoot Recordings and is now in search of a new independent/major label to take him under their wing.

Black Kadafi Da King Shit I'm 30 years old rap artist from the Southside of Chicago. I started writing and preforming at age 13. In order to learn the ropes, for 3 years I attended Columbia College with a focus in Music Business. School taught me a lot, but there is nothing like hands on experience. In 1999, I joined S.A.W Soidierz At War, a group well known for wearing orange and black colors and our hardcore millitary style. Together, our album sold more than 100,000 copies on the street and in stores in Chi town alone. Together, we dropped 3 albums featuring artists' such as Chuck "D" of Public Enemy and Big Ed (RIP) of No Limit Records, both featured on our debut album. We released total of 4 albums. In 2002, for both business/personal reasons I decided to step back from the game But I continued writing and being creative. In 2007 I came back ready to roll as a solo artist. Im also the artist/manager/CEO of King & Emp Entertainment. My moto is "DO 4 SELF". My family thats rollin with me is Cel$ and Da Empp. Im here looking to get me and my artist name and music out there to the world. it happen. So fans, DJ's, radio stations, promoters, producers, magazine companies, etc. get at me so we can make this happen.

The King Childern are fighting again,
okay Dexter King signed off the rights to his father life to Dreamworks and 'dem to do the official bio pic of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Well Bernice and Martin III are a little salty they said Dreamworks and 'dem don't have their blessings with the project, they believe their brother is tarnishing their parents legacy with his business decisons and says he has been operating the King Estate for years without their input, like the EMI Music Publishing deal for their father's words and image, the deal with the Dr MLK Jr Memorial Foundation who is building the monument toKing on the National Mall, and the book deal of their mothers, and now a real bio pic of their father's legecy and educate the largest possible audience about their fathers legacy, really if thats tarnishing something...really I think he has something to do with cash, Dexter must not breaking them off a piece of what he's getting or not enought you know, but you never know what could be popping in family business...money and family always causes problems...NEXT!
Last week, I told you MJ was checked out all good, health on point to travel to London to kick off his shows at the 02 area, right? And MJ was light even with his skin thing, it can be treated and the shows will go on, right? well how come this week MJ is postponing the first show and the rest of the shows are postponing to 2010? All the people bought their tickets within hours and the dates kept being added, and now he's only going to do the one show, which is the one show owed in the begining over there! MJ hey he's the KING of Pop, ya'll!
Nas and Kelis
yes they are getting a divorce, she's still pregant, Nas has request for Kelis not to receive or him to HAVE to pay any sponsol support, i wonder did they have a pre nup, anyway but yeah and they both are requesting split custody of their unborn child. My thing with this situation, I'm not weren't they happy they seem so happy and were picking names for the baby, I think in Kelis situation pregant her emotions are acting up and she cant stand Nas very much right now, so we will see after the baby is born if they are still getting a divorce or separation?
