Can't forget about the Stories the Major Headlines in Urban Entertainment of 2008:

Of course Campaign 2008 and Nov 4th, when America 51% of us chose the First African American Male to be the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama

Yes can't forget about the Hudson Murders, Jennifer Hudson's mother, brother, and nephew...we will discuss more on this in the new year more leads on what could have made William Balfour go on such a killing spree

Then we had the OJ Simpson Case, after stealing his own memorabilia back, the judge ruling over the case gives him 33 years which would make him 94 years old when he get out, and they say it had nothing to do with his aquittal in the death of his wife Nicole, really I bet OJ was like dang I wish Johnny Cochran was alive, 9 times out of 10 he would have got him off again....but 33 years for stealing his own stuff back....

Oh can't forget Mandella's Big B-day Bash this year

Another drama for 2008 was 50 cent and his baby mama issue

President Bush trying to get in good with us black folks but signing the emmit till unsolved Civil Rights Act into law- the law is giving justice department millions of dollars to investigate unsolved murders from the Civil Rights Era. The bill was named for Till because of what happen to him whistling at at white woman caused him to be murdered and found in the Mississippi river with a cotton gin tied to him...Bush did that but all he can do now is...get up out the Oval Office make his way out for the Obamas.

This year we got the First African American President of the United States elected and the First African American Governor for NY was elected as well....

2008 was an historic year for urban entertainment, music, film, tv, and politics...we are really doing big things as a people, I know Dr. King is smiling down on us seen his dream alive today.
